Tour of Norway 2021 confirmed!

Tour of Norway 2021 will be held as a 2.Pro Series race.

Tour of Norway will take place in 2021 as a UCI 2.Pro Series race. As a consequence of COVID-19 the event will for the most part be held in Rogaland. The government have already given us their support and we are now working with municipalities and partners to further strengthen the 2021 edition.

“We are very pleased to say that we can host Tour of Norway in 2021. Tour of Norway is the biggest and most important bike race in Norway, we know it will mean a lot for many people that we can bring it back for 2021. This year is a special year for us all, but with the experience gathered from international bike races this autumn and other national events that will take place this winter it should be possible to host Tour of Norway 2021 in a safe manner for all involved. This would not be possible without a big and important contribution from the Norwegian government, together with great help from partners, municipalities, police and the road authorities. Together with them and all the volunteers we will work hard to host Tour of Norway in May.” Says Roy Hegreberg, CEO of the event company Tour des Fjords AS. The 10th edition of Tour of Norway will take place from May 21st until May 24th as a UCI 2.Pro Series race with a mix of UCI WorldTeams, UCI ProTeams and UCI Continental teams.

The routes will be announced towards the end of 2020. We can already guarantee a race with unique Norwegian landscape including high mountains, stunning fjords and beautiful beaches. Teams will be announced at the beginning of 2021.
