Stage 6: Stavanger – Stavanger, 149 km
The final stage of Tour of Norway starts and ends in Stavanger. The race will once again be hosting the last attacks and challenges for the riders to complete and fight for the overall win of Tour of Norway. In 2021 the winner of the final stage to Stavanger was the Olympic Champion in Omnium Mathew Walls.
From Stavanger the riders face the first mountain sprint at Undheim after 39 km. Shortly after, the feeding zone is found in Varhaug followed by a Coop points sprint in Orrevatnet after 73 km.
The general classification and the final stage of Tour of Norway 2022 will be decided on the last laps around Stavanger, where the riders will challenge “Grisebakken”. On the last laps there is two mountain sprints, when they riders cross “Grisebakken” after 107,6 km and 147,5 km. and a Coop points sprint on the finish line after 132,7 km.
