THE COASTAL TRAIL IN SANDEFJORD

The coastal trail in Sandefjord is easy to reach and gives you a nice walking experience. The coastal trail on Vesterøya offers 25 kilometers of marked trails for hikers where Folehavna, with its smooth coastal rocks and stunning view, lies at the entrance to the open sea. The coastal trail on Østerøya is 20 kilometers long and passes through an area known for its rich and varied fauna.


THE WHALING MUSEUM

The Whaling Museum in Sandefjord is Europe’s only museum of whales and whaling. Their regular exhibitions and events offer something for the whole family. The Whaling Museum’s aim is to be a central institution in the presentation of a wide range of material connected to the history of whaling as well as the ecology and management of whales and their habitat.
